In 1996, the Alexandria Association established an endowment fund and the following year became a beneficiary of the Antiques in Alexandria Show. As a Show beneficiary, the Association was able to significantly expand its grant-making program. Through its Oscar Ryder Endowment, the Association has granted funds to support:
